Michael DelaneyMusic producer, composer, audio developer and software developer Michael Delaney is a UK-based software developer, audio technologist, music producer and composer. He began his journey in audio technology at sixteen, developing music drivers and composition tools for the Commodore 64. His earliest work was already finding its way into commercial games, and over the years it grew into technology used by composers across an extensive catalogue of well-known titles. He later carried that experience into projects for the Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance and plug-and-play television game systems. Michael has always been drawn to the point where software, sound and artistic ideas meet: understanding the character and limitations of a piece of technology, experimenting with what it can become, and finding ways to take it somewhere unexpected. That instinct has shaped a career built around complex ideas, original solutions and products that feel purposeful, intuitive and ahead of their time. A lifelong musician and synthesizer enthusiast, Michael's creative work is shaped by melody, evolving sound design and the hands-on process of developing sounds from the ground up. His recent release, “So, I Keep Running”, continues that connection between music, technology, experimentation and personal expression.
